Mansur Kadirov

Cello Instructor

Uzbek cellist Mansur Kadirov (b. 1989, Tashkent) is an internationally trained performer, principal orchestral musician, and dedicated educator. He currently serves as Cellist of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan and Principal Cello of the Ontario Philharmonic.


Dr. Kadirov has performed as a soloist with orchestras in North America and Asia, including appearances at Koerner Hall in Toronto and the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City. He was a live rounds participant in the Queen Elisabeth International Cello Competition and a Grand Prize winner of the Naftzger Young Artist Competition.


A graduate of the International Center for Music at Park University and The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, he has studied with distinguished artists including Horacio Contreras, Richard Aaron, Hans Jørgen Jensen, and Andrés Díaz. In addition to his performance career, he is an active professor and former head of strings in Tashkent, committed to cultivating the next generation of cellists.
