Shuhan Zhou

Shuhan Zhou is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano at the University of North Texas, where she studies under Dr. Puccinelli and Dr. Harlos.

In 2016, she was admitted to Capital Normal University as the top-ranked student in her entering class, majoring in Music Education, where she studied piano with Professor Qin Zhou. In 2020, she was again admitted as the top-ranked student to the same university to pursue graduate studies in Collaborative Piano.

During her studies in Beijing, she received the University First-Class Scholarship for six consecutive years and ranked first in her major for seven consecutive years. She was recognized as an Outstanding Graduate of Beijing for both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

She has received Collaborative Piano Artist Awards in competitions including the International Chinese Arts Festival National Instrumental Competition, the 4th Danny Awards, and the 21st Century Creative Talent Competition.

In addition, she has frequently served as the official collaborative pianist for university arts entrance examinations and has been invited multiple times by organizing committees to serve as an official collaborative pianist for national vocal and instrumental competitions in China.
